Auto Body repair question?
What is the best and fastest way to strip all of the paint and primer off of a 94 Grand Am. I've been using a grinder w/40 grit and flat sander w/80 grit. This process is killing me. Is there a safe solvent/remover to strip it clean???

Auto Body Repair Question?
What are the most important things you would consider when looking for an auto body repair shop.
A lady hit me in the rear while stopped she was going about 50 mph.
she tore up my sway bars; exhaust system and bumber and who knows what else after they take the bumper off.

Auto body repair question,,turning the car all the way over?
What are the things called that you bolt a car on (front and back) and roll it all the over so you can work on the underside of the car as well as the top side..Who carries these ?

Auto Body Repair question. Please help!?
I preped the surface for filler then I used body filler to fill some dents and I carefully sand the filler to match the skin. I prime with 2k then lite sand with 400 and everything looks and feels perfect. So, I paint the car and it looks great then a couple days later it looks like the body filler shrunk and now there is a slight depression in this area. What is causing this and what is the fix?

Auto Body Repair Question! 10 points for best answer!?
So this dumb girl side swiped my car but luckily the damage was very minor. So my question is does anyone know how much an auto body shop would charge to buff out surface scratches. I would say the area where the scratches are is about 1 foot by 2 feet on the front passenger door. Then there is another scratch behind the back passenger door that is about 7 inches long. Again these are all surface scratches that I would think just need to be buffed out. Thanks for your help!

auto body/repair question. CHP vin check?
I was wondering if anyone knows if a firewall change is legal or not. because the main vin number is on that piece. I got it dont on my car and i am having problems with the chp. i have receipts and pictures to prove the firewall was changed and they said they dont feel the car is safe to be on the streets which is why they wont pass me. Does anyone have any information about this? i know its been done before and vehicle was issued "blue tags". but they will not pass my car for some reason. any helpwill be greatly appreciated

Auto body repair question?
I've fix some dents on my car there were a couple in diffrent areas i sanded put puddy on. Trust me its preped good but the promblem is i dont have a paint gun so i bought the spray can from a body shop on the internet (base & clear coat) will you be able to tell it was painted
