can i sue a car wash whose equipment scratched the paint on my vehicle?
i went to this car wash that washes your car for you and when i came out to vacuum my floors i noticed this scratch down the side of my truck. i told the manager there what happened but he was like there's no way our equipment could have done that. i even talked to the owner and he said the same thing. after my truck dried i took it to an auto body shop and they told me that my entire truck had scratches on it. they are telling me that it's nothing that they did, we haven't had this truck for more than two and a half months and on the pictures, that i have before i went to that car wash, you don't see any of those marks on my truck. what can i do about this matter it was an automatic car wash. i never allow my truck to get dirty, i just wanted a quick clean on my truck and got a disaster. i haven't had this truck for only two and a half months which isn't long enough for paint to already be coming off

Recourse against faulty auto repair?
I had my car repaired by a local auto body shop after hitting a deer. 2 months after the repair a large piece of molding around the windshield that was replaced because of the accident fell off. I returned to the auto body facility and asked the owner if he would replace the piece again. He replied that the piece fell off because ice and snow had gotten underneath it and forced it off and that he would repair it for almost $300.00. I replied that if it had been installed correctly that snow and ice would have never been able to collect under the part or they would be popping off of cars all the time and that he should correct the faulty repair. At this point he became very confrontational and claimed that he would not repair the part, laughed and walked off. I was furious. What recourse do I have against this body shop to force them to repair their faulty work? Thanks in advance for any advise that you may have.

Help with lincoln mkz mufflers?
I am trying to get new mufflers on my MKZ but the auto body shop told me the way the pipe comes into the mufflers it would be difficult. The pipe comes into the mufflers at a diagonal, and i cannot find any mufflers like that. I would prefer something like flow master or magna flow but they dont make any where the pipes come into the corner like whats on there now. Any help please?

How can I touch up the front bumper of my Volkswagen Beetle 2000?
We have a 2000 VW Beetle. It recently got "bumped" and there are some scratches on it. Most are from the actually license plate hitting the car. It is not dented, but has some paint off a few 12" long marks, and some here and there. It is not metal, but more of a plastic material, so it won't rust. Just does not look too hot. We just bought this a month ago.I took it to an auto body shop and they want $750.00 to repair it (150 to take it off, but the rest in labor). I think that is ridiculous and cant afford it. Any of you car smart people know what I can do to make it look decent? I think that it would be cheaper to find a whole new front bumper, but do not know where. Any ideas? There has to be a way to sand it and paint it, but the best was is????No sarcasm please.

question about auto body shop repairing fees charging extra.?
My mom car was hit in a parking lot. The other person have insurance cover for us, so we took the car to a shop to have them estimate on the price. They said $700 so we agree to have them fix it. The car shop asked us for the claim number so we gave it to them to contact insurance. End the end the car shop told us that insurance will send out $1300 check under my mom name but to their shop place and told us that there's some fees later on with insurance and them so they're taking all the money. My question is what fees are there for the extra charge that was not there originally? (I didn't talk to the shop so idk what fees they're charging.) And the original price was $700. It was just a little scratch and dent on the back of the car that isn't that noticeable.

can damage be done to my car in order to fix other things?
after my car got backed into, the people who backed into my car said they would cover everything that happened. So i brought my car into the auto body shop (there was no internal damage just panels and the headlight smashed) where they did fix everything back to normal, but when repairing the hood of my car they must've heated it up to bend it back or whatever, now there is a bunch of really small cracks in my hood paint, and there is still a dent in the hood. he called these little cracks "crows feet" and said it happen from heating up the car and there is nothing he can do about it. in all reality it looks like he can just paint over it a little or something.. The only problem about the whole matter is my girlfriends older brother backed into my car and the parents are paying for it, and i really don't want to cause them any more trouble. I have a grand prix GTP 99 the insurance company from my girlfriends keep calling should i consult with them about it or what?

Boyfriend broke up with me out of no where?
So my ex boyfriend and I have been together for 9 months. The weekend before he broke up with me we were fine, I stayed over and we were like we always were. Then Wednesday night out of no where he says I think we should go our separate ways, i think im not the person you want to be with, he thinks that he is holding me back from school. We meet up a week later to talk and he was like I like you and care for you so much and I enjoy being with you and was telling me how he kept thinking about me all week, but he still wanted to break up, he has a depression problem and said that he needs to figure a few things out and that I should be with someone better. I am in school and going for edu and he works at a auto body shop. He thinks that I will meet someone at school and he said he doesnt want to get hurt in the end. Of course I cried in front of him and when he held me hes like this is tearing me apart seeing you like this, and ask to give him two more days and I said no because I dont want to think something good is going to happen and your still not going to want to fix this. So after crying alittle I made him pinky promise this wont be the last time I ever see or hear from him. So he pinky promised and I left. Is there a chance we can work this out in the future or do you think he is over the relationship? I have been crying and thinking about him so much since that night and I just want to get back together but I am not talking to him and hoping he will come around. What do you think? Please!
