Help the Environment With Auto Body Repairs
We all live, breathe, eat, sleep, and enjoy our lives on the planet earth. Even though we are do so much here and depend so greatly on our earth we continue to harm it by harming the environment. There are many things that we can do to help the environment and keep it clean for a long time. Things like not wasting water, recycling, not cutting down trees, not polluting the earth and getting auto body repairs. Yep, you heard right! You should get auto body repairs versus replacements parts or new vehicles to help the environment. Helping the environment is easy, find out how you can do your part by getting auto body repairs!
You are probably surprised that auto body repairs help the environment. Well, they do. Auto body repairs involve using the existing materials on the vehicle and repairing them. With means there is less trash to go to the dump. Whereas with auto body replacement there is a lot of waste going to the dump from the old part being thrown away and the packaging that the new parts come in. Also most auto body shops recycle what materials they do have to discard, which is a big help and keeps a lot of build up at the dumps. In case you don't know there are many auto body repairs that can be completed on all vehicles. Some of these repairs include paint touch up, auto Body Repair, bumper repair, windshield repair, wheel rim repair, paintless dent removal and more. Also another plus with auto body repairs is that they can be completed quickly, usually within two to six hours. The best part is that they are affordable for most people and auto body shops will work with insurance companies. Make sure that you choose an auto body shop who is part of the "Go Green" campaign and that it is doing their part to help the environment.
Also, if you are thinking of getting a new vehicle because your current vehicle has a few damaged areas, you should reconsider. With so many different auto body repairs that can be completed there is no reason to just give up on it and get a new vehicle. Many times old vehicles end up in the dump if no one will buy them. So many cars go to the junk yard and the dump too soon. So, getting auto body repairs will keep less vehicles from being sent the dump too soon and filling it up. Also remember that new cars cost a lot of money. Auto body repairs can cost you some money out of your wallet, but not nearly as much as buying a new vehicle.
So, join everyone else with the "Go Green" campaign and do your part to help the environment! Doing something as simple as getting auto Body Repair instead of replacement. You will not only be helping the environment but you will be saving money and get your vehicle looking great for less!

How do you do body work? Rust repair?
Just wondering how anybody with experience or knowledge in auto-body repair would fix a rusty car properly. this is what i do with a rusty car, when doing rust repair:
1) cut off rusty areas around any holes and sand off paint around work area
2) put a sheet of body metal behind the hole to cover the hole from the inside
3) tack weld it in place then solid weld it, and clean up the welds with a grinder
4) after cleaning up the metal with solvents i put short strand fiberglass on to get a rough shape
5) sand the short strand with 40 grit and put a medium layer of lightweight fill on
6) in a dark room i use a trouble light to show up the body lines with the shadows created by the light, then begin to sand the lightweight with 80 grit until it matches the body lines well. then use finishing putty to fill and scratches in the lightweight fill.
7) prime it with etching primer and make sure to cover the bare metal well
8) paint with whatever paint i intend to use. color match if its a quick patch or epoxy primer if i will continue on to paint the whole car.
Any ideas to improve this anyone? it works good for me and i just wanted to put it out there in case anyone wanted to attempt rust repair themselves.
will using 600 grit on epoxy primer get the finish paint to take a better "hold" and not bubble or easily scratch off later?
How much time should i put into welding on the patches? since they are put on from behind the panels and over lap on the inside, do i have to keep welding them solid or can i just tack weld them good?

i dont know how to blend with wet sanding yet, i dont have an electric buffer so i have to leave any rough edges as they are, i try to hide them against a pinstripe or in a body line. i need a buffer.

One hour exposure to second hand smoke? What happens?
The other day, I went to the casino for the first time (just turned 21) with friends and they allowed smoking inside the boat. Being a non-smoker, I felt like I was dying, there was no ventilation at all. I felt a burning in my chest and I kept having to cover my face. I finally got my friends to leave, but it was after almost an hour exposure to that second-hand smoke. My friends say I need to toughen up but I couldn't see how I could do that!
I woke up around 4 that night with some chest pain and muscle cramping and that morning, my back was stiff and now I need a heating pad on it because I can't turn it without soreness.
I read that in only one hour, your arteries harden and blood thickens and the cilia in your lungs are damaged. IS this permanent?! Am I going to be scarred for life by this? Or will my body repair itself?
I'm also on birth control. Will I develop blood clots? I've never been around that much smoke in my life and I don't plan on going back, nor do I ever want to smoke. But I want to know if my body can repair itself? Can my arteries soften again?
Just doing internet research and getting really freaked out. Does this stuff only happen when you're exposed to second hand smoke for long periods of time that you risk blood clots and harden arteries and thick blood?

My car came back from the shop and it smells?
Someone bumped into my car and I had it in the body repair shop and it smells like the body repair shop. How long will that last?
I also noticed there is some white powder stuff around the inside on the side where the dent was fixed.
Is this normal?
I also see finger prints on the window.

Auto repair shop liability?
My daughter took my 1991 Jeep Cherokee to a repair shop for a safety inspection. They didn't pass it. As my daughter to drive the vehicle home, the left front tire came off due to neglect of mechanic to reinstall it correctly. The front axle and fender were damaged. They did mechanical repairs but said they would only give me $500 for body repair and allow me to keep the vehicle. The body repair would cost $1765 according to estimate. What is their liability?

Is this enough protein in my diet for building muscle?
Breakfast - 2 eggs 2 slices of brown bread. (monday, wednesday, friday, sunday) all the other days I have porridge and a protein shake
Lunch - Chicken pasta salad, and 2 hours later (before gym) a protein shake
Dinner (After gym) - a few pieces of fruit, a banana, apple and some grapes and then i'll have 2 pieces of cod or 2 pieces of chicken with some potato croquets
And before bed when im very aching from delayed onset muscle soreness I like to have a small protein shake as it your body repairs the muscle when you sleep.
Is this enough protein? Im not looking for an extreme diet plan I just want enough protein to gain muscle and would like to know if this is sufficient
Thanks : )
