car body repair?
my car has picked up quite a few chips and blemishes and a couple of little dents, there's nothing that serious but i want to repair them, i've tried a touch up pen but it looks a bit naff.is there anywhere good around that will repair them for me at an affordable price? I live in kent

How are dents in car bodies repaired (ideally) ?
What I meant was : How is the repair done by an official dealership BETTER than that done anywhere else ?
meaning
I have a new car , it got dented (a 2 inch linear dent ) on the arch over the right rear wheel , how can it be optimally fixed since it is a new car ? In an older car I think the usual way is to cut ,reweld and paint . Does a specialized dealer have a better way ,? Or is it better just to leave it that way ,since its only a small dent ?

Need some car body repair advice, can someone advise?
I was in a car accident recently. It was the other person's fault and I was written a check for the damage. Its a good sum of money (about 500 bucks). I've been debating whether or not to get it fixed or just keep the money.
The car is a 2004, has about 40 k miles on it. Its not paid off yet and the money would def help pay it off. I know I'm going to drive it for another 3 - 4 years and over 100k miles before I trade it in/sell it.
I guess my question is, how much will this damage affect the value of the car in 3 years...will it severely reduce the amount i get for a trade in?

Do any of you know anything about the paintless car body repair?
My boyfriend is thinking of getting into business doing the paintless car body repair (fixing hail damage etc.). I'm a girl and I don't know a lot about car repairs. Is it a profitable business? Or is he going to be wasting his money?

car reversing sensors had them installed without being sprayed now had it sprayed and its going off?
this is a weird one i installed my reversing sensors 3weeks ago works great
but ive just had them sprayed (colour coded) and now when its in reverse it goes off
it was sprayed by a car body repair and it was sprayed while in the bumper
and the sensors are after markert ones but good ones.
if anyone asks for more info ill have to add more so please check
ive been told it can be sprayed with any kind of paint,so i know thats not the problem
ive got a 4sensor and it has a display and its showing that its the left sensor thats bleeping
the car did go into the baker,im going to be taking it back to the bodyshop i did notice that he had paper over the sensors when it was in the baker,well the paper covered the whole bumper
in the manual: We recommend two thin coats of spray paint (not to be applied with a brush). A coat of lacquer can be applied for metallic colours

Any car body repair experts out there (we live in the UK)?
My son as just purchased a "Peugeot 206" (1.4 glx, 2-door, dark red) "S" registration, Private sale local paper.
Question please :-
The car is in good condition for the year and as been well looked after, and came at a good price.
But :- the drivers door in the top left hand corner had a substance spilled on it which damaged the paint work basically the door was touched up but is noticeable.
What would it cost realistcally for my son to have the small area rubbed down and resprayed or would it be better to have the door resprayed
This would be out of is own pocket and not through the insurance.
*** PS we were aware of the door on purchase and took the price into account.
