Should I Trust Any Car Repair Shop?
During the first year of owning a car is a feeling that we can't seem to leave our car. We would even love to sleep at our cars, and it's like a pet for us that we would provide all maintenance just to look it good and in running condition. We are very concern about everything that our car might be needing, the maintenance, care, and even regular wash. As much as we wanted to take car of our car ourselves, but in some point and some unexpected situation, we need to bring our car to a car repair shop to do some tricky jobs and other maintenance considering that it's our time to own a car. Our concern in this point is the reliability of a certain shop of our choice.
Well, this is just normal to be concerned and worried about our car since that's the very main reason why we bring our car to them. But of all the cars that are brought in a shop, are we really sure that each car is treated with special extra care like what we wanted to?
Behind our knowledge, auto repair shops have laws and requirements that they need to follow and comply before they do the repair. Normally, all over the world, there are five categories that they need to observe and with that, we will know if we can entrust them our cars. If they follow the right policy and procedure before they perform a car repair, it would only mean that they are reliable enough for us to be at peace.
The first thing to be performed by a Car Repair Shop is the written estimate for such repair. Before they do the repair, they would normally negotiate and write the estimated amount of repair, and also parts that need to be repair or replaced. This would serve as a legal documentation that you have your car repaired with them. This is normally applicable to repairs of high cost. But regardless of the cost, a good repair shop has a written estimate as a proof and to observe its legality.
The next step to be observed is the unauthorized charges. A reliable repair shop will never charge his customer more the 110% of the total amount indicated on the written estimate and authorization not unless a verbal agreement was made in between the shop and the car owner. This would exclude taxes, but no hidden charges.
An official receipt must be provided after the repair. This is with the compliance of their tax payments. And a good facility must observe disposition of replaced parts. That would only means that they must return all parts that was replaced on your car except for those that are stated on the warranty or not unless you have to verbally tell them that they can junk the parts replaced. This practice will ensure that the junks will not be reused in whatever form as these parts may be unreliably damaged.
Unlawful acts and practices is also a must. Make it sure that they are doing exactly the same as what is shown on their advertisements. False market bills and other form of advertisement must be relied upon repair.
If all of these policies governed a certain Car Repair Shop, then we say that we can trust them and that they will handle our cars with care as what we always wanted to.

boys what do you think?
Hi everyone =)
Thanks for reading. I am going through a bit of a dilemma I guess..well sorta. I have experience with men and relationships, but this one has stumped me. I have been going into this cafe now for a little over 5 years. This employee(who I am attracted to) has been working there since I started going there. I never really noticed him until just recently(about a year ago). He has always tried to start conversations with me and I talked with him until my order was ready and I left. I never felt nervous or anything like that until now. I can barley even talk to him without getting shy I almost feel embarrassed for being so shy, when I never was like that towards him before. He has told me things such as hes seen me walking or driving, asked me questions about my previous work, played with my little one(I have a child and he also has one) while we were there hes asked about my car and just conversations with me like that. Hes even seen me outside of his work and got my attention to tell me hello =).
Every since I started feeling this intense attraction towards him hes been on my mind alot(I am not desperate, and I am not obsessed). I would really like to get to know him more, but I do not want to get rejected. I just need to know by some of the things that I said if he is interested. It is so weird because when I go in there it seems as though he gets shy(at least I think). I have been in there with my friend who knows him and hes so outgoing and confident to her but with me hes kinda quite, but he smiles and talks with me. I have even caught him looking at me when I was walking away and we have even made eye contact. Also sometime earlier this year when I walked past his cafe 5 seconds later I saw him run out of the door and look around as if he were looking for someone(the cafe was empty when I passed by) also another thing was I saw him at this business supply store, and I did not recognize him at first so I did not wave or anything, and when I asked if it was him later on that week if that was him he said it was and than asked why I didn't get his attention or throw something and be like hiiiiii lol.....than a few days ago we were chit chatting a bit and we started talking and I told him how I was frustrated that my dryer broke as it was drying my clothes and my plumber no showed, than he said "oh that's to bad, that happened to me bla bla blah" than he goes "so do you live in a apartment or a house?" and I said I live in a house here in (city) and he was like "oh you live over there Im always driving down that street" lol(even though hes seen me there once or twice with my little one on that street in the past.... Also recently I when I went in he asked how everything was and I told him how I had a cold and was frustrated that it was taking two days for the car repair shop to put on my brand new tires(dont ask why it took that long lol) and he was like "oh thats too bad you should have let me put on the tires for you" What should I do? are these any indications or am I just being silly? any advice would be appreciated

what should I do about this?

Yesterday I was on my friends facebook page and I noticed that she had him on her friends list and she just added him so I added him. He accepted my friend request and on my facebook I do not use my real last name. So when he added me he sent me a message saying "that isnt your last name is it? lol" I was like "no its not, but some people think it is lol" than that was that. I was wondering if he was trying to start a conversation with me and if so how do I restart the conversation going? I also told him that his kids were adorable and that god has blessed him and he replied back with "thanks, you to". What should I do? are these any indications or am I just being silly? any advice would be appreciated

How much will the parts cost to fix an oil leak?
I'm about 3,000 miles over an oil change but I've been putting oil in regularly. Yesterday before work (around 2pm) I put a quart in and drove to work. At 11pm I drove home (its about a 10 minute drive). My car smelled when I got home but I didn't think anything of it, cars smell sometimes especially 10 year old Saturns. This afternoon I planned to get an oil change before work so I left about an hour early and arrived the oil change shop. Once there, there was white smoke coming out of the hood of my car. I immediatly opened the hood and there was a bit more smoke but not what I would consider a lot. Once I got in the garage the "mechanic" told me I had a "pretty bad" oil leak coming from "somewhere." When I asked him if he could tell me where he said, "I'm not a mechanic, I can't tell you that." I work half a mile from where I was so I drove to work and called my neighbor who owns a car repair shop in the next town over. He's going to stop over and check my car out on his way home from work. I'd like to know how much this is going to set me back. My neighbor doesn't charge for labor, only parts. If someone could please try to guess where this leak could be and how much the parts would be to fix it, I would appreciate it.
(I know that's a lot of info, I like to cover all my base's)
Thanks guys!
I'm at work and forgot to mention that the smoke is coming from somewhere under the engine. When I was parked I could also see smoke coming up from near the front passenger side door. I went out to look under my car about 10 minutes ago and there is a puddle about 6-7 inches wide and maybe 9-10 inches long under the car. I checked the spot my car was in last night and there is about a 6-7 inch circle of oil on the ground. (My car has bee parked for a little over an hour.)

Should I trust The car repair shop?
I was in the process of getting my valve cover replaced, and they looked at it and said that the valve was bent or something or another. and basically they want 600 more dollars. are they legit or trying to get an extra dollar because ill never see that part of the motor anymore
The guy said, it looked like the previous owner messed with it, and it looks like he trry to pry it open with a screwdriver. she said it will be 600 if he get it from the dealership. but "a lot" less if he can find one at the junk yard. initaly it wasnt even a huge problem. i just wanted it to be fixed. now all this other stuff is popping up
its a v6 mitsubshi eclipse. I just bought the car last week, so i have no idea what the previous owner did to it
